Day 2

D

Time to try a different format of post…

3 Tips for a smooth, stress free presentation

1. Do the work early. Don’t leave it to the last minute, avoid any unnecessary stress and anxiety from having to do a presentation from putting in the effort way before you are due to deliver it. Give yourself the minimum of a 48 hour buffer for tweaks & amendments before it’s due.

2. Keep it simple. Your first draft doesn’t need the bells and whistles, keep the design and layout as minimal as possible whilst you build the story that you want the presentation to tell. White background, black text and a great font are all you need to begin.

3. Avoid the killer question. Once your happy with your deck, go through it with a friend / colleague and try to find the weak points or areas where you might prompt a question that will undermine all the great work you’ve done. Forewarned is forearmed.
